The Pot of Gold Cabaret Gala is a progressive evening of live entertainment, silent auction, and reception held at the Cameo Theatre, 703 State Street, Bristol, VA, concluding with dessert and a 50/50 Pot of Gold raffle held at Theatre Bristol, 506 State Street, Bristol, TN, to benefit Theatre Bristol. A single $100 raffle ticket purchase provides admission to the September 26, 2026, 6:00 pm event, or a $50 individual or companion event ticket may be purchased to attend the event and not be entered in the raffle.
Tickets
- Tickets can be purchased at Theatre Bristol or online or at the event
- A secure site will be used to sell and track raffle tickets
- Cash, credit cards, and debit cards are accepted
- Every raffle ticket sold contributes to the jackpot
- The more tickets sold, the bigger the prize grows
- Raffle tickets will be on sale at the event and online until 8:30 pm on September 26.
- Must be 18 years or older to purchase tickets
- Theatre Bristol is the sole organization conducting this raffle
Drawing
- 50% of the proceeds from the raffle will benefit Theatre Bristol productions
- The other 50% goes to one winner drawn
- A single winning ticket will be randomly drawn live on September 26 at 9:00 pm from a “pot of gold” of all the printed raffle tickets by the Theatre Bristol Board President
Winner
- Winner does not need to be present to win
- Winner will be notified by email and phone
- Winner is responsible for applicable taxes and subject to all applicable tax withholdings
- Prize must be claimed within 60 days of raffle drawing or 100% of the funds go to Theatre Bristol
- The winning prize is not transferrable except to Theatre Bristol
- No prize substitution will be given
Event Schedule
- 6:00 pm – Doors open, raffle tickets on sale, cash bar open, hors d’oeuvres served, silent auction open, tours of venue
- 7:00 pm- 8:00 – Cabaret show
- 8:30 pm – Silent auction ends, payments collected
- 8:30 pm – Raffle ticket sales end
- 8:30 pm – Walk/Drive to Theatre Bristol
- 9:00 pm – Dessert, actor meet and greet, and Raffle drawing
Purpose
Pot of Gold Cabaret Gala contributions to Theatre Bristol are critical to underwriting quality programming. Funds help bring classic literature and entertainment to the stage, subsidize school shows, support camp scholarships, provide training and guidance in our youth programs, preserve art and history, and ensure founder Cathy DeCaterina’s commitment that no child be turned away.
