Theatre Bristol Holds March Auditions for “Grease” Paramount Center for the Arts June 2026 Production
Mark your calendars for March 6-8 auditions; Roles for teens, men, and women!
“It doesn’t matter if you win or lose, it’s what you do with your dancin’ shoes”! Audition with your dancin’ shoes and you may win a role at Theatre Bristol! Auditions for “Grease,” the much-loved summer musical, are March 6, 7, and 8 at Theatre Bristol, 512 State Street, Bristol, TN. The roles available for teens, women, and men, along with audition times and location, rehearsal schedules, performances, audition forms, are provided at www.theatrebristol.org/audition.
With a hip-shaking rock ’n’ roll score featuring hits like “Summer Nights,” “Greased Lightnin’” and “We Go Together,” Grease celebrates Rydell High’s class of 1959 in all their duck-tailed, bobby-soxed, gum-snapping glory. Head “greaser” Danny Zuko and new (good) girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the high romance of their “Summer Nights” as the rest of the greasers and “Pink Ladies” sing and dance their way through such songs as “Greased Lightnin’,” “Sandy,” and “Beauty School Dropout,” recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard and Elvis Presley that became the soundtrack of a generation, along with “You’re the One that I Want,” “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” “Grease,” and more. A run on Broadway and two subsequent revivals place the award-winning Grease among the world’s most popular musicals.
Glenn Patterson directs this American classic coming to the Paramount Center for the Arts stage for two weekends of performances, June 19-28, 2026.
If being in the spotlight is not of interest, but backstage on the production team or crew is, Theatre Bristol is forming teams and crews now.
