Theatre Bristol Announces Auditions for The Trial of the Big Bad Wolf

July 13, 14, and 15 auditions for a stage production where truth is in the spotlight

My, what big plans we have! Theatre Bristol announces auditions for The “Trial of the Big Bad Wolf” July 13, 14, and 15 at Theatre Bristol, 512 State Street, Bristol, TN. The Big Bad Wolf, the Three Little Pigs, Judge Wise O. Al, and a jury of fairy tale representatives bring a delightful comedy to the ARTspace stage in September under the direction of Camille Gray. No preparation is required to audition and roles are available for men, women, and children. Show details, audition times, and rehearsal dates are available at http://www.TheatreBristol.org/audition.

“The Wolf: villain or victim? The Three Pigs: innocent or at fault? The Jurors (Miss Muffet, Bo Peep, Cinderella and Humpty-Dumpty, to name a few): solid citizens or characters with a past? And what about Judge Wise O. Al? Is justice on his side—or does he have a secret to hide? Then there’s the media—a reporter, newscaster and town crier. Have they come to accurately report the proceedings—or to turn the courtroom into a media circus? And who is that surprise witness at the end? The answers to these profound questions and even more are revealed once and for all in this rollicking, fun-filled, action-packed trial-of-the-century” (Dramatic Publishing).

Director Camille Gray, most recently choreographer for Theatre Bristol’s production of “The Wizard of Oz,” has directed Sherlock Holmes, “Pinocchio,” and “Godspell,” as well as choreographed, stage managed, costumed, and performed in many shows. A Theatre Bristol veteran of 16 years and mentor to the Youth Service Board, she is currently pursuing a BFA in Directing at Emory & Henry College. She is supported by stage manager Brittany Wallace, costumer Zaiah Gray, set designer Luke Gray, props Mason White, and lighting designer Albert Tester.

“The Trial of the Big Bad Wolf” opens September 6, and runs for two weekends at the Theatre Bristol ARTspace, Fridays at 7:30 pm, Saturdays at 5:30 pm, and Sundays at 2:30 pm, closing on September 9. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors and students, and will be available at http://www.Theatre Bristol.org. For information on school shows, please contact info@theatrebristol.org
