Sept 28, 29, 30, and Oct 1 auditions for Christmas favorite

Theatre Bristol announces auditions for “Miracle on 34th Street”  September 28, September 29, September 30, and October 1 at Theatre Bristol, 512 State Street, Bristol, TN. This beloved Christmas special comes to the ARTspace stage in December under the direction of Dottie Havlik.

No preparation is required to audition and roles are available for men, women, and children. Show details, audition times, character list, and rehearsal dates are available at www.TheatreBristol.org/audition.

“Miracle on 34th Street” will have everyone believing this Christmas when they come to the Theatre Bristol ARTspace. By chance, Kris Kringle, an elderly man in a retirement home, gets a job working as Santa for Macy’s. Kris unleashes waves of good will with Macy’s customers and the commercial world of New York City by referring parents to other stores to find exactly the toy their child has asked for, but the magic of Christmas ends up on trial!

Director Dottie Havlik, most recently having written and directed the annual River’s Way productions, directing favorites such as “Junie B in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells,” “The Adventures of Madeline,” and “Charlotte’s Web,” as well as performing over the years, is excited to bring this show to the stage for the holidays.

Running weekends, December 6 – 22, showtimes for “Miracle on 34th Street” are Fridays at 7:30 pm, Saturdays at 5:30 pm, and Sundays at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors and students, and will be available at http://www.Theatre Bristol.org. While tickets may be available at the door, reservations are encouraged during the holidays. For information on school shows, please contact info@theatrebristol.org

Theatre Bristol’s is pleased to present “Miracle on 34th Street” as part of its family-friendly 54th season of ARTspace and Paramount shows, including “Cinder Red Robin Hood and the Seven Dwarfs,” “The Wizard of Oz,” “Sherlock Holmes Mysteries,” “The Trial of the Big Bad Wolf,” and “Into the Woods.” “Miracle on 34th” Street is presented in special arrangement with Dramatic Publishing and sponsored by Stephanie Snelson, DDS.
